If it’s one thing I absolutely I love it’s handwritten notes.
I also really enjoy coming home to packages in the mail, and supporting people marching drum corps.

Things that keep me sane.
Shaving. The real way; with a badger brush, hand worked lather, and an actual razor blade.
A real shave, giving yourself one takes an almost meditative amount of focus. You turn off the fan and focus on your face, making a lather with the brush, controlling the blade angle, hearing it scrape and pop while you remove hair and dead skin against the silence, feeling an actual razor glide against our face. Fifteen minutes of pure unhindered intent. I’m sure i get to a meditative state, because when i’m done i feel so much better, and the actual act is a foggy haze i can never really remember after.

Standing outside my door, in just pyjama bottoms taking in the sun, with a banana and demitasse in hand, sipping my double espresso.
