my response to reject assembly Bill 1678: Restricting Mobile Vending which threatens the food truck community.

More and more state bills are being written vaguely. A person that has been elected to office should be able to draw up a concise, specific bill that actually addresses the concerns of the matter at hand. Certain food vendors — i.e. food trucks, should not be blended together with ice cream, and fruit/snack carts, which may not hold the same sanitary, and culinary standards. This would put a large hindrance to the necessary fundraisers that use Food trucks as a big draw or food service. All bills this vague need to be either given specific amendments, or revoked to be governed by smaller local governing bodies.

you don’t need to give a reason, but if you love independant culinary ventures, or just hate umbrella bills vaguely written by state government, sign the petition.
